Opera Nights, on the big screen at the Royal British Legion in School Lane, are informal and free of charge. They take place on the fourth Thursday of every month (with a summer break). The bar opens at 7.00pm and there is a short introduction to the work at 7.20pm. The Opera commences at 7.30pm. There will be an interval, when the bar will again be open. If the operas are given in the original language there are subtitles.
