Lutra Vallis Ladies Probus Club

We are a friendly group of mainly retired women from all walks of life, including  those from the business world and the professions. Our aim is to meet to promote friendship and knowledge among like-minded people.

We meet once a month at the British Legion in West Hill, at 2pm, the second Tuesday of the month. Our talks are on diverse and interesting topics. For example, to name but a few, we have had a talk from Ann Widdecombe, one on medical Detection dogs, and another on Lundy  Island.

An optional, extremely popular, “Afternoon High Tea” is provided by Hospiscare volunteers, which enables us to socialise, catch up with each other and make new friends. All proceeds go to that worthy charity.

We are a non-political, non-sectarian, autonomous organisation, whose meetings are structured but informal.

If you would like the opportunity to meet those with similar interests, keep your mind active or just simply to find pleasure in each others’ company, please contact our Chairman, Trisha Fryer, by phone on 01404 813408 or by
