Rooms for Hire

West Hill Village Hall is situated in Beech Park at the centre of the village, adjacent to the Primary School, the children’s playpark and some 100 yards from the village store. The main hall is ideal for large receptions and parties, and there are several smaller rooms. The hall is available as a complete hire or as individual rooms. Contact details are provided via a link on the drop-down menu below the Village Hall tab.
The West Hill Royal British Legion club house is available for booking when not otherwise in use. Enquiries should be submitted using the bookings enquiry form.
Local Councils
West Hill has its own Parish Council and is within the East Devon District Council area. The Ottery St Mary Town Council site may also be of interest.
Bus Timetables
The 44 and 44A buses stop on Bendarroch Road, at the junction with School Road and at West Hill garage.
The 382 bus stops at the junction of Higher Broad Oak Road and Hawkins Lane, and outside McColl’s (the West Hill Post Office) and West Hill garage, but only once per day in each direction.
Health
The nearest doctor’s surgery to West Hill is the Coleridge Medical Centre in Ottery St Mary.
Ottery St Mary Hospital does not have an Accident and Emergency (A&E) department. The closest A&E to West Hill is the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford). Urgent Care Services are available at the Beacon Medical Centre in Sidmouth, Honiton Hospital and the Exeter (Sidwell Street) NHS Walk-In Centre.
